‘Inspired Books’ spring from my writing workshops in schools.
During the workshops, I guide the pupils through the practical process of crafting stories from their initial ideas. Afterwards, while the class are writing their own stories I write one as well, inspired by pupils’ suggestions.
The result is a series of books whose stories are inspired by ideas from the groups of pupils I’ve worked with. Books in the series are available as Kindle e-books from Amazon, and as paperback editions from this website. The series is edited by Jarek Adams, creative writing tutor at Gloscol. There are eighteen books already published, along with the second anthology of children’s writing. See a selection of covers below. All artwork hand-drawn, and illustrations inside the books as well, drawn by the kids. Absolutely no AI at all 🙂
